Phuket nightlife and entertainment

If you’re into dance music then you could choose worse vacation destinations that Phuket. The Phuket nightlife has undergone a resurgence of late and is modeling itself very quickly into a place where hard core music lovers can come to dance and listen to cutting edge DJs and their rhythmic beats. Only recently DJs like Jo Mills, Judge Jules and Louie Vega have all been on the island spinning their discs and this has really given the Phuket nightlife a lift.

And this was a lift that it desperately needed if it was to compete on this level. Phuket’s nightlife consisted of lots of Thai-style clubs which were popular with locals and with some travelers; patrons in Thai-style clubs dance a lot, drink little, and have fun, but these were not the super clubs that many of Phuket’s visitors were looking for.

In the more touristy areas the Phuket nightlife takes on another guise altogether by offering popular dance and hip hop music venues which allow clubbers to have their favorite songs and their favorite cheap booze.

Even if not popular with everyone, these bigger, louder clubs have added rather than taken away anything from the Phuket nightlife as a whole: the variety has increased everyone’s enjoyment.
