Law of Attraction Knocking Out the Negatives

One of the latest buzz words to get an airing is the “Law of Attraction“. But what exactly is it?

The Law of Attraction is not some magic art form, nor is it some ‘method’ by which you can improve yourself with pumps and drugs; it is simply about harnessing what is already available to you. The law is based around the laws of the Universe which state we were born with the in-built knowledge that we create our own reality – we shape our own destiny, if you like. We are trained to ignore this in-built knowledge and to confirm to society’s cautious norms; we fit in and we become accepted. For most people this is all that they want out of life, and that is fine.

But for some people this is not enough. Imagine a situation – everyone has experienced this – where you want something desperately: you feel magnetically drawn towards and idea or a concept. Once you admit this to your friends they call you down. “This”, they helpfully explain, “is a crazy idea. Stop those thoughts right now”. You give into their way of thinking and this moment of epiphany is lost forever. Next time one of your friends acts in a similar way towards you, you may have the same reaction; you may want your friends to meet society’s expectations. It is this kind of negative thinking that the Law of Attraction aims to overcome.

The Law of Attraction tells us not to bury these feelings and not to get dissuaded by friends and colleagues. You create your own reality with deliberate intent; you forge your own path towards your own goals.
