Free iPhone Music is a Distant Dream
Choosing a service from which to make your iPhone music downloads may at first seem confusing but can come down to just a few critical areas.
First and foremost you must decide whether you’re wanting to go down the free or paid-for music route. There is also a middle ground – ad-supported music downloading – but that is in its relative infancy and the selection just isn’t great.
Free music downloads are a tricky problem. Some people consider that they’re just not morally right; still others think that the risk of the files being infected with viruses or spyware is simply to great to warrant the risk. Others swear by this method as it is free and the variety of iPhone music available is greater than by any other means.
Paid for downloads have the advantage of being legal but, of course, they cost real money. There are options that may get you around this, though.
Some services offer unlimited iPhone music downloads for a set monthly fee. The only issue with these services is that the choice from their catalogue of iPhone music is nowhere near as comprehensive as that offered by services that charge per track downloaded (like, say, iTunes).
